Route displays your online orders in a central, free visual tracking app. We use the shipping and tracking information you receive at the time of your purchase to display:
- Where your purchases are
- When they're expected to arrive
- How to report an order issue in the event that your Route protected package is lost, stolen, or damaged
To sign up with an account, you can follow these steps:
- Select Sign Up With Google.
- Select Continue on the box that appears.
- Select Allow to grant Route permission.
- Select Allow.
- Track your first order!
Route uses delivery and order information to provide as much detail as possible about your order. To do this, Route parses your emails to collect order information such as tracking numbers, carrier names, and product info. We employ multiple layers of security to protect and secure customer data. If you do not have Gmail or do not wish to connect your Gmail account to the app, you can still utilize the order tracking features by signing up with your email and then manually adding orders in the app.
To sign up with a non-Gmail email, please follow the steps below after downloading the app:
- Click Get Started.
- Click Sign Up With Email
- Fill out the fields with your name, chosen password, and email address and click Confirm.
- You will be sent an email with a confirmation code. Once you have received the code, please enter it into the app in order to confirm your email.
To start tracking an order, click the + icon in the top right corner, select Tracking Number, and enter the tracking number associated with your order.
When you log into Amazon, Route will be able to display the details of your order such as the item names, quantities, and pictures. Route will not have access to your Amazon account, and will not store your data. If you choose not to connect your Amazon account, you can still track Amazon orders, but Route will not be able to display the details of these orders.How do I connect my Amazon account?
When you sign up in the app, you will be prompted to log in to your Amazon account to connect it. If you do not connect your account at sign-up, you can always connect it later. To connect your Amazon account after sign up, wait until you have an active Amazon order. Once you have placed an Amazon order, go to your order details page in the app and find your Amazon order (or add one manually). The cloud icon with the text Get Item Details will appear, and once you click on it, it will guide you to connect your Amazon account to the Route app.
